Hi, I'm Malissa
I'm a singer-songwriter, radio host, producer, and creator. Music has been my first love since I was 16, when I signed my first management deal after being recognized in a nationwide Songwriter of the Year competition. Since then, I've written albums, toured with Top 40 artists, run recording studios, and collaborated with multi-platinum producers—always chasing that perfect moment where melody meets emotion.
I also host Just A London Girl, my award-winning radio show broadcasting to over 40 stations worldwide. It's chart-topping hits, pop culture, and showbiz stories delivered with energy, style, and insider knowledge—the kind of show that makes listeners feel like they're hanging out with a friend who truly lives and breathes music.
This past year has been an exciting new chapter—filming TV pilots with world-class production teams, working with incredible casts, and creating music that's raw, cinematic, and unforgettable. My latest single, Over a Lifetime, has been played worldwide and is already earning recognition, including nominations for Best Independent Female Single and Best Female Artist. It's a song about growth, resilience, and the moments in life that shape who we become.
My work has been recognized globally, with nominations from the ISSA (International Singer-Songwriters Awards), WSA (World Songwriting Awards), and various indie awards. And 2026 is shaping up to be even bigger—I'm collaborating with Billboard #1 artists, releasing new music, and continuing to bring original TV projects and Just A London Girl to audiences worldwide.

Malissa Whitehouse has worked in the music and TV industry for the past 15 years. Her first media break was at MTV/Viacom where she worked in programming for various channels such as MTV, Paramount and The Movie Channel.
Working with high profile celebrities Malissa was then offered an opportunity to join the team at Capital Radio working for the Head of UK Programming Richard Park. Working with Capital Radio’s in-house record label Wildstar Records, a joint venture with Telstar records, which launched the careers of Craig David, Travis and Mystique. Leading to Malissa launching Richard Park’s media company TRPC. This lead to opportunities working with Universal Records and OK Magazine on various media projects as well as still overseeing events such as Party in the Park for the Princes Trust.
Malissa has been a professional singer-songwriter since she was 16 years old after becoming a finalist for Songwriter of the year in conjunction with Capital Radio, Coca-Cola and The Evening Standard, leading to her first management deal and launching her first album with a TV debut on Channel 4’s cult show ‘The Word’.
After developing as a singer song-writer, working with a variety of Top 40 producers, Malissa launched her own independent production company Pop Sessions and recording studio Diverse Music. Launching her own roster of Pop artists as well as writing for new and established acts, successfully securing management, licensing and recording deals. Malissa is proudly represented and published by Peer Music.
