Malissa Whitehouse has worked in the music and TV industry for the past 15 years. Her first media break was at MTV/Viacom where she worked in programming for various channels such as MTV, Paramount and The Movie Channel.
Working with high profile celebrities Malissa was then offered an opportunity to join the team at Capital Radio working for the Head of UK Programming Richard Park. Working with Capital Radio’s in-house record label Wildstar Records, a joint venture with Telstar records, which launched the careers of Craig David, Travis and Mystique. Malissa has been a professional singer-songwriter since she was 16 years old after becoming a finalist for Songwriter of the year in conjunction with Capital Radio, Coca-Cola and The Evening Standard, leading to her first management deal and launching her first album with a TV debut on Channel 4’s cult show ‘The Word’.
After developing as a singer song-writer, working with a variety of Top 40 producers, Malissa launched her own independent production company Pop Sessions and recording studio Diverse Music. Launching her own roster of Pop artists as well as writing for new and established acts, successfully securing management, licensing and recording deals. Malissa is proudly represented and published by Peer Music.
“Malissa was my business, songwriting/music production partner for many years. Creating studio productions for TV and radio. I learnt so much from Malissa about song-writing, management and most of all patience and determination following the launch our successful music production company, Diverse Music. With her varied Music and TV industry knowledge Malissa brings strong leadership skills and knows how to execute on both the creative and business side. We met 25 years ago at the iconic Soul II Soul studios, London and are still collaborating today.

Malissa is an incredibly talented and effervescent character. She fills a room with her smile and loving passion for music, creative writing and her zest and resilience for life. I first met Malissa 2005 when we collaborated on a crazily successful event for Learning Skills Kent attracting 10,000 young people to music workshops.
I've been fortunate enough to continue our working relationship over the years, we combine head space and inspire each other with unique ideas and spar enthusiasm for projects that we are in pursuit of fulfilling our work and life passions.
Regarded highly, anyone who is lucky enough to work with her, will know when they've been 'Malissa'd', you will be energised, excited and moving in a very positive and clearly defined direction.
Hetty Rackham – former Marketing Director of Learning Skills CouncilMalissa is such a diligent and dedicated person to work with, no job is ever too big for her and she consistently has a professional attitude. I met Malissa at Britannia Studios twenty years ago where she was writing and supporting up and coming pop acts. I still have the pleasure of working with Malissa today as she is currently writing on various musical projects for Rough Diamond artists.
“I have been collaborating with Malissa now for a number of years on an exciting live action music format she created and we are developing with her. She has so impressed me with her huge creativity, passion, energy and talent ... Malissa is one to watch and we relish our relationship with her”
Alison Rayson – Managing Director Raydar Media

“I had the pleasure of working with Malissa on her first comedy sitcom pilot, from the moment we met I knew I was in very capable hands. Malissa was able to seamlessly combine her roles as producer and actress - she has a unique combination of skills, and is one of the most inspirational, motivated, generous and visionary people I have ever met.”
